I understand foreign tourists on a short-stay visa can hire a car in France, as long as they carry an official translation of their driving. I am not being lazy, but most content I find online on this matter is in French, and my french is no good! Can someone guide me on how can I get an official translation of my driving license?
PS: Thank you for all your comments. I figured Alliance Francaise offices have a translation department that provides official translations with their seal. In India, they charge Rs. 600 (~7 USD) for the normal mode which takes 4-5 working days and Rs 1239 (~16 USD) for the urgent mode which takes 2 -3 working days.
