Parents that home school your children, what are the pros/cons of homeschooling?

My son is a few years off from going to school, but the more I think about home schooling the better it sounds. What I'm afraid of is him not getting the proper social interaction he needs. Also, I was never very good at school myself but I figure I have some years to learn myself so I can teach him better. Any advice? Would you do it again?
