Serious questionā¦. Iām a dad and I have been dropping my son off at a āMothers day outā program for a few hours twice a week. He has been going for about a month and every time I start to pull in to drop him off he immediately knows and starts balling his eyes out, reaching out, yelling ādadaā. He usually calms down while he is there, but around the time for him to be picked up he starts crying again and yelling dada. I know he is safe and ok, but does anyone have any recommendations on how to cope with this as a Dad or how to make things easier on my son? Iām not usually the emotional type, but listening to your child cry is consistently like this just takes itās toll.
