Greetings all,
Our Christmas features myself and the kids traveling to Massachusetts to our annual, enormous family gathering on Christmas Eve with everyone singing together until the wee hours of Christmas morning. At about 10pm I slip away and switch into a Santa outfit and hand out literally 75 gifts to anyone in attendance, all the kids radiate with delight.
Obviously this year we won't be getting together and though everyone in the family is saddened, my 8 year old daughter and my 11 year old son are devastated, the former crying every night.
I need help coming up with ways to make their Christmas spirt soar again. Really, I don't know what to do. Can't buy $1,000 gifts due to the impact COVID has had on my financially, was thinking about inviting the world to send them Christmas cards but who knows how that would go.
Any ideas? Any whatsoever? I'm open to anything and everything at this point!
If you are reading this, please be safe and have a happy holiday season.
