So today is our sons 7th birthday. After a long night and getting everything set, he wakes up and was so happy it was finally his birthday. We let him open his first gift and it started it off right! It’s Pokémon theme so he gets to be Ash (which was his first gift costume) he said and I quote “wow you really went all out mom!” This was before he saw his birthday table (something small our family does for all birthdays). He finally gets up and dressed in his new costume to be absolutely blown away. We really hoped this would be the year he wouldn’t be disappointed and I just finally get to say he’s never been so stoked! Out of all of his birthdays this is the year. Despite quarantine and now curfew due to riots I had to make this birthday one to remember! He will receive all the gifts he wanted with exceptions of a few that we just couldn’t get our hands on and/or didn’t want to overspend. I took him to the Virtual Reality place that we always visit but haven’t since the beginning of cv19 (which we got to use free hours since we are members) and then we will be picking up pizza from Chuck E Cheese’s, then head home to party. My husband made up clues/riddles for a treasure hunt for his gifts, we have a piñata for all the kids to enjoy, crafts and a snack bar plus his Aunt created an unique one of a kind custom cake for him which blew him away. I know this is long but I just felt like I had to brag. We’ve never seen him soooo happy in a while and the day has only just begun. We can’t wait to see his face when he opens his other gifts because they are going to just explosion sound effect blow his mind away! Thanks for letting me boast! Happy Redditing.
