Post Body

Hi all, first time posting here. My 4 year old boy and 3 year old girl are so picky when they eat and often will not eat at all. They used to eat things like oatmeal, corn dogs, chicken nuggets, fruit, and now will only eat a couple bites only if they’re familiar with the food. They’ll communicate they’re not hungry even if they haven’t eaten since last meal or snack time. My son will say he wants something specific for dinner, ill prepare it, and he won’t eat it or only take a few bites. Anytime I try to introduce a new food they’ll turn their heads and cry if I’m adamant about feeding it to them. I’ll get my son to take a bite and then he spits it out. The foods they used to eat they’ve been reluctant to. What have your kids at that age enjoyed? What have you had success with feeding your kids? How can I get my kids to try new foods without totally force feeding them? Any other advice? TIA
