Right now I do almost all the chores with his and pitching in with one or two things when he can. Kiddos are 8,4 and 3 and I really want them to grow up at least knowing how to do chores if not how to do them regularly without much complaining. My own parent's method of waiting until I was a teenager then suddenly just screaming at me for not doing a chore I didn't know they wanted me to do was a failure so I'm aiming for a better plan.
So, how do chores work in your house? Any tips for getting started with dividing them up? Right now I don't do anything regularly except laundry and dishes, should I get myself together first before getting the kids to help?
