I know this is a pretty common problem & I’m happy enough to wait it out. My problem currently is with my work. I’ve got a teething 3 month old & a 2.5 y/o with abandonment issues so not much sleep is happening right now. I’m managing it with lots of coffee & red bull but come 4pm I am zonked & falling asleep over the keyboard. Work pulled me aside the other day & told me they’ve been noticing this & I was like no shit, but they’ve given me an ultimatum to fix it or gtfo. I can’t force the children to sleep & I like my job when I’m not a zombie so is my only option to get a new job who will be flexible if I do the work but need 40 winks occasionally? I was top performer on my team before this but now I want to chew my bosses face off if he looks at me yawning. I can’t perform higher brain functions right now so can’t think this out logically. HR are pals with my boss so won’t care too so that’s out. Any advice welcomed!
