Not sure where to begin. I live with my 10 yo son from my first marriage, my current husband and our two daughters 3 yo and 4 mo. My 10 yo was diagnosed with adhd early on, has aggressive tendencies and a learning delay. I find it hard to distinguish between what is adhd behavior or normal hormonal boy stuff. He is constantly lying, constantly talking over you, we repeatedly tell him to stop speaking and he won’t stop. Gets mad and growls, always crying when he’s caught doing something wrong and is getting reprimanded. He takes zero ownership for his actions and words even when we witness half of the things he still does not admit anything. I find it very hard to get along with him. For a long time it was just me and him and I was a distracted mom for sure- lots of early child hood interventions bc of his behaviors. He gets along with my husband and my daughters but we cannot seem to get along. So who else has a 10 yo they can’t get along with? I feel bad every time we have these explosive fights but I can’t get through to him any other way.
