screaming to sleep
Post Body

Sorry this is kinda long...

One of my twins started flipping out at bedtime a few months back while we were on vacation. I’m talking like 2-4 hours of screaming, refusing to lay down, the works. I initially thought it was just because we were somewhere new. We got home and things started to go back to normal. But then my husbands work schedule shifted and he started back up on refusing to go to bed, and screaming the whole time. This is both at nap and bed time. At nap time, it takes A LOT to get him to sleep. Like, I have to be in the bed with him, holding him against my until his fit stops and he’s calm enough for me to rub his back. Bed time he will tell us no and run away, then refuse to be covered up or stay in bed. We have to walk out, close the door, wait for him to come to the door screaming, then go back and relay him down.

He doesn’t act like this for sleeping at school.

Idk what else we can do, and the screaming is really starting to pull at my mental health. I just feel awful.
