My daughter is the most well behaved child I've ever experienced....when we're outside of our home. At home though has started to become a disaster at times. She's very well behaved and listens during her well rested and non-hungry parts of the day. As soon as she gets hungry or a little tired its like she's a completely different kid. It's like her ears close and she just starts being mean and naughty. She'll throw her food if she doesn't get it immediately, she'll hit the kitten(also pick it up and push it), she'll pinch and hit, and get into things she normally knows she can't or shouldn't. We have realized a lot of this is probably coming from the huge changes that have happened in our lives in the past four months(moving, I got a job, he's been laid off, getting the kitten). We've tried diverting her when she gets into things she's not supposed to, tried saying we don't do that, only show her the appropriate ways to do things, those things work only when she's at her peak times. And now that I've noticed this I've started offering more snacks and let her nap when she wants. On her own she's gone down to one nap a day and now almost always sleeps through the night, and if she does get up it's just to be changed.

I guess I just don't know if this is all normal and if we're doing the right things because before now I've had zero experience with toddlers at all.
