What do people do after the kids are asleep?

Post Body

My wife and I have our differences. I feel we didn’t talk enough before having a kid on how we want to parent, what are family values are and how we want to support each other as parents.

My wife is a big believer in co-sleeping. Our kid is 7 now and my wife happily goes to bed with her and sometimes comes back to our bed but will go straight to sleep. I’ll mention I’d like to spend time with her in the evenings but she needs a lot of sleep. We have a ok relationship otherwise so have no interest in separating.

I’m an extrovert and love chatting to new people. Since Covid I’ve worked from home and don’t have a great friend group. I’ve got hobbies but they’re mostly solo like running and going to a driving range. Are there ways to meet new people online? I’ve got a window between 9 and 11pm that I’d like to chat to people. I know there are things like virtual speed dating but I’m not looking for a romantic partner. In a similar vain though I’d love to chat to people and hear how their day was, learn what they like and dislike etc.
