5 years ago weekends were great, we could do what we wanted, when we wanted. We could go out for extravagant brunches or do some day drinking. We could have leisurely days in bed or sofa cuddles. However, now weekends are the absolute worst, we have a toddler, a newborn and an asshole dog. During the week the toddler is at nursery so it's an unpleasant morning and then some respite as only have to deal with 2 out of 3 for the rest of the day. But now, weekends are the absolute worst. Early starts from the toddler, sleepless nights from the newborn and no escape till back to nursery as needs all hands on deck to manage.
So now it's work all week, then stress all weekend and I'm feeling a burnout coming along any time now!
I'm very much regretting having kids at this point
