Sleepovers vs no sleepovers
Post Body

My older kids are 7 and almost 6, and they're at that age where kids like sleepovers and all that. Here's the catch: my husband and I both grew up in abusive homes. Both our parents divorced when we were young, and out of the 4, my mom was the only decent one. So I'm personally extremely uncomfortable letting our kids sleep over at other people's houses, because my worst nightmare is one of them staying somewhere/with someone like we grew up with.

Am I being unreasonable?

Yes I'll be talking to my husband about it, but he's a fairly passive person so he'll probably just go along with me, I want unbiased feedback.

Comments

Absolutely no chance. I've read and heard far too many horror stories
