So, on the weekend, i got to take my kids (4 of them, 2 boys, 2 girls, 5 - 13yrs) to a suspended net adventure land. Sounds great until you realise you have to supervise them on there. Now my (42m) wife (42f) and the mother of the lids books things like this all the time, and we agree ita great for the kids to do it.
Problem is, she has mobility and health issues meaning i have to be the one to go on all the stuff. I'm unfit, exec, work sedentary role for 60hours a week and by the time this stuff happens, i'm exhausted at the end of the week. I dont get enough time during the week while working, caring for my wife and the kids to daily exercise - but i'll always do whatever i can for the kids.
Problem is, everything hurts. I cant ask my wife to stop booking these things, the kids need it, especially my 7yr old boy who has ASD and ADHD...
Why cant fun things be less painful?
