If you're ever in South Western Wisconsin and you can feel the presence of spirits like I can, than take a jog over to soldiers Grove, Wisconsin. I assure you the feeling will be worth it. Or just flat out sad. But interesting.

A friend and I were driving to Florida from Minneapolis. A 10 yo and another friend sleeping in the back. Somehow she took a wrong turn and now were in the Mississippi river valley, a bit south of lacrosse, WI (Illinois/Iowa/wisconsin/Minnesota border area). We enter this town called soldiers Grove. It's like 600 people if I remember correctly. It's getting pretty dark outside but you can still see the peaks of the hills in the valley on either side of you.

I'm looking around and I'm saying to my friend this would be a perfect place for a battle. Like I already had this deep heavy feeling. You could ambush from the hills very easily. I just knew it (mediums have told me prior to this that I'm a very intuitive person).

As we pull out of town the feeling completely vanishes. Nicole, who has her own psychic abilities as well, says to me did you feel that. I was like oh ya, we high fived and laughed.

So I Google the town after we went thru. Turns out it was the site of the Blackhawk war in 1832. The town was actually renamed from pine Grove to soldiers Grove shortly after to honor the fallen soldiers who camped, tended to wounded, etc etc in this area, hiding essentially in the river valleys.

All in all approximately 600 people died in this particular battle. The feeling was dense, sad. I want to revisit and go to like a chili cook off and start asking residents if anything weird goes on around there!! Thanks for reading, let me know if you have comments/questions
