Freaked out and need to vent.
Post Body

So I just had the strongest experience I have ever had with something paranormal. Some background, where I live we are having a horrible heat wave, so I have my room doors open to keep some kind of airflow going between the windows/rooms. I had my dog outside because it’s cooler for her out there in the afternoon than it is in the house and I usually just bring her in before bed. Well as I was watching Tv in my room(in the back of the house) I heard what I thought was her crying outside of my window which didn’t make sense because she is supposed to be on the other side of the house by the front door, so obviously I though she had gotten off her line and I got up to check on her. As I round the corner of my doorway I literally ran smack dab into a man wearing a plaid shirt, it happened very fast and really I more just saw a blur of plaid. It was like when someone jumps out at you from behind a corner to scare you, except it felt like he was running at me. It completely took my breath away, I stumbled back and just kind of sat and stared for a minute. I walked to my bed and sat down and listened, I didn’t hear anything from the dog or in the other room. Once I got my breath back and calmed down I searched the house and didn’t see anything, I went outside to see the dog and she was just laying under her tree unbothered. I brought her in and everything seems fine now but man I am freaked out…..I’ve had experiences before but this is my first time actually seeing whatever it was doing it and I’m having a hard time processing that it actually just happened.
