To preface - I'm 20 years old. My family has had countless paranormal experiences that cannot be explained etc, etc. But outside of general ghostly/demonic experiences, there is another phenomenon that I've never been able to completely understand. So, if you have experienced this or anything of the sort, please lmk.

I guess I could describe it as a "death sense" that my mother's side of the family has. I've always felt 'sensitive' about things and maybe that explains why I've seen and heard a lot of stuff, but this is different. The oldest person I'm aware of that it started with is my Mother's aunt, who lives alone. Days before anyone in the family would die, she would hear a voice say "Hey 'Aunt's name' ". It has happened many times, to the point where she will call everyone in the family to tell them to be careful when it does. Eventually it happened to my mother, my sister, my brother, and myself. We have also heard the voice before someone gets hurt or sick, but if they don't die, there will be no "Hey", just our name.

When I heard it, it wasn't scary per se, I was just caught off guard and really thought someone wanted my attention, before realizing that no one could've said it.
