Four years ago I was in Mexico and a man came up to me claiming to be a psychic. He wasn’t a peddler, or asking for money, he was just very insistent he tell me my future.

Might I add that I am short. Only 5ft tall. This man was probably 4’5”. So he didn’t corner me off or scare me into the situation, in fact he did this right in the middle of a market where I was buying fruit.

Now the amount of information this man knew about me from “reading my palm” (he just took a quick glance at it) was insane. Without revealing too much about myself let me say he hit the head on the nail about how my life played out. Not generic traits anyone could relate to, they were very specific to me and events in my past. After telling me he could tell I was American, even though Spanish is my first language, he said I had and x number siblings, such and such living situations and even promised I had already met my husband. After that he quickly handed me a bunch of rocks or coins he had in his pocket? I can’t quite remember. He had me throw them on the ground. And he spent the rest of the time staring at them on the floor telling me about my future career and life.

He was very specific with all my details at the end of his “session” (which I might add was 5 minutes of him speaking very quickly, he was almost out of breath. He then quickly pulled out a small green, transparent, bag full of rice, sprinkles and/or beads. He told me to carry it with me for good luck. And he literally ran off and disappeared right after.

Now between then and now I’ve had a couple other encounters with said psychic. Keep in mind this happened between two countries and in three different states. Oddly enough they all told me the same future. Nothing too crazy. But the man who came up to me in Mexico still has the biggest impact on me.

I’m curious if anyone has heard about the rice thing? Or the coin/rock technique? Since my memory is murky on what he said about the rice can anyone explain it or does anyone else do this? I guess I found this to be he most intriguing and weird thing he said to me. He was adamant the rice would help me but I wasn’t quite sure with what or how.

Has anyone else had these random experiences with either a psychic randomly approaching them to tell them about their past/future? Or maybe even going in for a reading and learning more than you bargained for?
