This is my first time in this subreddit, I didn't know where else I could get an explanation. If I could get a logical one it would be great because I do not believe in ghosts...anyway so my family and I had gotten back from the gym. We were in the kitchen getting ready to serve ourselves dinner. I was in front of our gas stove which was completely turned off. As I leaned in to grab some soup from the pot that was in the back left burner the four burners in the stove automatically turned on and then just like that turned off by themselves. I freaked out and yelled and spilled my food. My entire family witnessed this. We were trying to figure out how a gas stove would turn on by itself and then off in an instant. I was so freaked out I thought I had burned myself. My face was close to the stove and my arm was hovering over it. I thought I would have burns or that my hair was burnt but I was perfectly fine, just startled and still feeling the heat in my face. I now cannot sleep (it's 3am) trying to figure it out. So if anyone has any idea what it could have been...
