I’m staying with an old friend at his new property, woke up and couldn’t get back to sleep. I was outside numerous times and noticed a black figure in the yard about 30/50 feet away from the porch. approx in circled area

It was roughly about trashcan height and I assumed it was something to this affect (he also has some disc golf baskets and I couldn’t remember where anything had been during the daylight).

At first I was a little spooked but quickly wrote it off as and didn’t feel anything menacing. I just went out to watch the beginnings of sunrise and it’s no longer there. Experiencing full body chills still, as I type this, but still don’t feel doom or anything like in black dog legends (only thing I can think of to fit the size)

Any Pennsylvania legends I should be aware of, or theories as to what it may have been?? Thank you in advance!!
