It's only happened to me a few times, and usually when I'm super stressed out so I always thought it was yet another symptom of panic disorder, but I would get this really high pitched ringing in my ears, then all noise would fade and I'd see a person either walk towards me or across my line of vision, The last time it happened was about five or so months ago I was thinking some pretty shitty things about myself and working myself up to start crying when my ears started ringing and my aunt walked towards me like she was coming in for a hug, the ringing stopped, she was gone and I realized she had been dead for like a year.

I'm just wondering if this is some sort of weird way for dead folk to contact me, or my brain picking up different frequencies or maybe I'm just crazy. Has any one else experienced this?
