As of the 2016 Census, the City of ParaƱaque has 681,735 documented inhabitants under 148,527 households. This constitutes 5.29% of the total population of the National Capital Region (NCR) and 0/68% of the national population. Of this current population, there are 230,816 children under 15 years of age. There are roughly 302,000 people in the labor force and about 178,128 who are currently economically inactive. With a growth rate of 2.39, doubling of population is expected in 23 years.
