An observation:
I take the NREMT paramedic written exam every 2 years to maintain my cert, since I don't have time to do CEs. This year's test was considerably different, and I thought, quite a bit harder than the tests over the last ~8 years. I think the advice of "answer like a basic" is still applicable, but the questions were trickier than in the past. There were maybe 6-8 questions I made a wild-ass-guess on, and at least a couple of those involved exotic eponymous syndromes that in 20 years as a medic I'd never even heard of. Test ended around 75 questions.
Or, maybe I'm just dumb and it's time to throw in the towel. When I get my results, I guess I'll know.
