I was reading the nursing subreddit about the most embarrassing things they’ve done at work, it had me in tears. It was such a fun read and a reminder that we really are just humans figuring it out in the moment. I’d love to hear the paramedic side of this.
I’ll share one of mine;
I just got done working an unexpected cardiac arrest of a man in his mid 40s. Super sad, lots of crying, very serious scene. I had just got done explaining to his 4 kids and wife that we had done all we could and terminated efforts, I ended it with “I’m so sorry for your loss.” I proceeded to then turn around and walk into their screen door so hard I knocked it out of the frame and sent it loudly clattering to the ground.
So then did you just stick the c collar on yourself? Hehe

More fine than living in a nursing home depending on your perspective 🤭
