Could hatchet face be immune to simurgh's song

I've always been curious about the limitations of parahuman powers. One of those parahumans was hatchet face. All I know about him is that he can nullify powers if they are in close range, but it's never mentioned if powers that target the individual would affect him. For example could regent control his body if he was faraway enough, could canary control him through her songs, would he be able to sense imp. Could he be immune to simurgh weird mind song?

I might have missed something, so maybe I could be wrong, but I'm very curious.
