Post Body

I created a post not long ago, inquiring about the Levao Brazilian Panties found on Amazon, which seemed like a great "knockoff" version of the Victoria's Secret Brazilian Shine Strap Panties. Some of you showed interest, too. While I'm typically a thong wearer, and sometimes cheekies, I instantly fell for VS's Brazilians when I got them, and they quickly became my new favorite panty to wear. I certainly plan to get more VS brand Brazilians, but when I spotted the Levao brand on Amazon, which came in a pack of 6 for approximately the same price as one from VS, I had to check them out.

Appearance

Visually, the Levao brand is similar to the VS brand Brazilian. If you care about the sparkle factor from the jewels on the waistband, Levao has significantly less, but it does still sparkle. The gems just are not packed as densely as the VS. The waistband says Levao instead of one of VS's many designs. VS now has less colors than before (iirc), so picking up Levao may give you some additional options if you like to collect colors as I do.

Quality

The fabric of the main portion of the panty feels very similar - if not identical - to that of VS's Brazilian, almost as if they took the panty from VS, removed the waistband, and fastened their own onto it. The primary difference in quality lies in the waistband, which seems to be thinner than the waistbands on the VS Brazilian, and as a result may have more stretch. For some, this may be ideal. For me, who fit perfectly into VS's size small and actually enjoyed the lack of stretch, I prefer the VS on this aspect. Again, those who may need the stretch can rejoice! Also, it seems the way the waistband is fastened to the front/back wasn't given as much care as VS, but the seams do appear sturdy. Aside from the waistband's differences (and I wouldn't necessarily call it a decrease in quality), quality seems to be on par with VS, at least from a first look perspective.

Comfort/Wearability

Sizing with the Levao Brazilian is more or less what you would expect from VS. I'm a VS Small, so I ordered the same with Levao and the fit seems to be just right. If you order some, order your regular size. Stretch feels great where it needs to, and for the half day that I've had a pair on, I've had no issues. Some guys reviewing the VS Brazilians seem to have issues fitting their parts in the front of this Brazilian cut with the VS brand, so if that applies to you, you may want to avoid the Levao. However, I would likely be considered above average in size up front, and there is some side peeking (as there is with VS) but I have never had any issues with falling out, and no issues with comfort. Again, the slightly extra stretch that the thinner waistband offers may be helpful in this case. I see it as slightly less support, but it still provides plenty! Wearability and fit are damn near the same as the VS, with maybe just slightly more fabric in the back. I prefer a more cheeky look, but this still shows plenty of cheek, a good blend between a thong and an actual cheeky or bikini. As far as consistency goes, all 6 pairs fit the same, which is a welcome surprise for Amazon brands, which often are made with wild inconsistencies.

Overall, I'd recommend giving the Levao brand a try if you like the Brazilian cut, or if you're looking to check out the Brazilian cut without spending $25 on one pair at VS. I would say I still prefer VS, but these are a fantastic alternative and will definitely make their way into my everyday wear drawer. They're nearly identical, and they cost less!

Happy to answer questions :)

Transparency Note: All of these reactions are a result of one half day of wear. They have not yet gone through any laundry cycles, high-activity wear, or frequent wear, so I cannot speak to the long-term durability of the panties. If anything changes with my review, if I notice a poor performance in quality, or if I notice superb quality in the long run, I'll be sure to share!
