The grandeur of the Crystal Palace gleams in the light of an unknown sun, shining down upon the ancient pink stone. Within these hallowed halls lies the home of the Exiles, a group of Heroes, Villains and others who have found themselves unwound from time in some regard, or perhaps they have simply volunteered, knowing the stakes of preserving the Multiverse are high.

It is upon this eve, that a team of Exiles have returned from another successful mission, ensuring that a man known as Bruce Banner would be irradiated in a Gamma Bomb test. One event capable of altering a chain of events across the Multiverse.

Some may consider such a fight futile, but for the Exiles, Weapon X and others, it is one of the most important tasks of their lives.

As the Tallus returns them to 'Mission Control', Cecil is there to greet them, scratching his beard. Beside him stands Danger, reformed for such an arduous task ahead of them. Cecil grins at the re-arrivals, and pulls a party popper.

"Congratulations on another success, whatever chain was about to present itself has been prevented and, importantly, time has been wound once more for another of our support staff. I'd say that's a fantastic reward for a job well done. I asked Bonnie to whip up some food for you on your return, there's a fair selection on the table."

He jerks a thumb, and then points to his own plate, covered in a delectable mess.

"Go chill out, eat, drink, be merry. I'll find out what's next for those willing."

Across a metal conference table in a nearby room lies a full buffet. Food that never was, and perhaps never will be. When The Queen of Nevers is willing to make food for you, you know you're in for some interesting choices. Fish, Rice, Curries, Yorkshire Puddings and cheeseboards are but a few of the choices available for the hungry Exile.
