What do you think are some missed opportunities in Parks and Rec?

Sometimes, while appreciating how great a show is, one can also think of ways in which it could have been even greater.
For example, I hate the fact that Ben apparently was a fan of every geeky franchise besides Doctor Who, because then there could have been jokes about how he looks like a David Tennant/Tenth Doctor bobblehead.
