Nimble Is Not Good For Breeding and is VERY Overrated on Mounts

Post Body

Folks act like Nimble is a huge deal to get on your flying mounts and go to great lengths to make sure it's present on their "zoom zoom vroom" mount, but people fail to consider the fact that it's occupying an entire slot for just 10% additional increase to movement speed.

Nimble Sucks

In reality, Nimble is not that great, and is not worth breeding for. There's much stronger alternatives even if something is occupying a slot on your team just to be a mount. Let's take a look at some scenarios:

Nimble on a fast mount like Jetragon which is only used to get from Point A to Point B

Yes fast vroom vroom for the memes is funny but besides that it's useless. Atleast Runner is 20% for its slot and Swift is 30%. We're talking about adding 10% bonus to a very fast pal which *already* benefits from an existing 70% increase.

For those who forgot math, going from 70% to 80% is not a full 10% increase from the base.

Jetragon's base sprinting speed is 3300. Since we have Legend / Swift / Runner prodiving 70% that puts it at 5610 sprinting speed without Nimble.

With Nimble, the bonus would go up to 80%, and the sprinting speed now goes from 3300 to 5940

The difference between 5610 and 5940 is a 5.88235% increase.

At end game with the amount of fast travel everywhere there just doesnโ€™t exist vast enough distances that make this noticeable in the slightest.

Ackchyually...

"But OP, I bred this Legend / Swift / Runner / Nimble Jetragon only for quickly flying places! It's not for combat! I have other slots with combat pals for that. Therefor, Nimble on my Jetragon is still useful!.

Sorry, it's still bad in that case.

Even in this hypothetical where a Jetragon never does anything on your team except come out to fly, then you pull it back and it never ever sees combat, Vanguard and Stronghold Strategist are superior options. That way this Jetragon is contributing *something* to a fight for the vast majority of its existence: which is not fighting.

Musclehead or Burly Body would also be huge improvements to your team's overall power as they'd give you extra utility in case that Jetragon does need to come out and fight whatever reason in the future.

Nimble isn't good, it's overhyped, and there's better uses for that 4th passive slot.
