The most minor QoL feature I want is an easy way to see if I've caught 10 of a Pal in the wild.

Just something like a little Star next to their name when you look at them in the wild that tells you that you've already caught 10.
Obviously you can look in the Paldex or just remember, but there are plenty of times I run by a Pal and think "Wait, have I caught 10 of them?" It'd be nice to have a little indicator to help remember when just running around.
