Update: Was too much of a pain to migrate the data over as others had pointed out. I was able to get the world to port but the user profiles didn’t transfer (yes it was windows to windows). I went with low.ms (thanks to @Zitorakh)! I have had no issues. Game updates happen seamlessly. Thanks to everyone who weighed in!

Hi! So am new to this aspect of gaming. If I were to rent a dedicated server from say Nitrado - how does it work? I currently am playing with a group and the game is rubber banding, etc so am thinking of just renting one.

1. How do game updates work? This is being advertised as a Palworld game server, does the server host have an auto update feature? Mismatch in game versions has already been an issue and I can’t put blame on the server host everyone has a life, but wanting to log on and play and not be able to can be frustrating.

2. Is it possible to transfer the save file? Do you get access to upload any save data?

3. Any recommendations for server hosts? I really am loving this game and if renting a server allows me to play whenever with whoever with no issues then I’m willing to pay for it.
