I don’t care if Hodari or Sifuu (or any other character that isn’t an option rn) are able to be romanced and I actually prefer that they aren’t.

I like that there are relationships in the game that don’t ultimately end in romance and I think its nice (from the perspective of someone in their early twenties) to have relationships with older characters that feel more maternal / paternal, than romantic.

However, that being said - there definitely needs to be more mature romance options. Like I said, I’m in my early twenties and even some of these romance options are too childish for me to be comfortable. So, I couldn’t imagine being 35 trying to pick a partner and being disappointed that most of them seem at least ten years younger than me.

Though, my personal solution to that would be to add new characters, not change established ones.

And I will add, there are lots of people who want to date specifically Hodari and Sifuu so if the speculations are true, I am still happy for you guys to be able to date them lmao

*editing to add: I DO think we need more mature options, I feel like people aren’t fully reading the post. My perspective is this: people who aren’t in a stage of their life where they want to be in a relationship, they as people and their friendships are just as valuable! I like that not everyone is “up for grabs” because it adds more dimension to the character. Like Hodari seems more focused on his daughter and financial struggles, as opposed to finding someone to date. Which speaks to his character as a father, which I admire!

WE STILL NEED MORE MATURE OPTIONS! I am in no way saying that what we currently have is good. So please stop accusing me of saying “I got mine” bc I literally said in my post that some options in my age range still feel too immature for me and that we need more age diversity lol.
