I've started reading up on Mary Anning the other week, and now I'm obsessed. I don't know much about paleontology besides whatever dinosaur books I read as a kid, but I want to get back into it. Reading about her life and also the other scholars she interacted with, like Richard Owen and William Buckland and Henry de la Beche, is just so interesting. I love learning about the personal lives of historical figures (especially those in the 1700s/1800s), so if you guys have any recommendations of fascinating paleontologists (or tbh any scholar/scientist/adventurer), I'd love to hear them! Article/book suggestions would also be great!
