Trigger warning: Contains content that may be construed as anti-paleo
I found this article very informative and entertaining, seeing as it's a cracked article, that's not unexpected. They go through some well known food "facts" and show that they are not all truth. I know we've all had experiences with some these, but it's interesting to see what some of the studies out there actually say about them.
A TL;DR:
1.) Salt doesn't cause heart disease
2.) Saturated fat doesn't cause heart disease
3.) Fish oil doesn't prevent heart disease
4.) Genetically modified wheat is not the source of the obesity epidemic
5.) Probiotics are not an absolute necessity for a healthy gut going to fix your stomach problems
Edit: Credit to u/orangetiem for pointing out my misreading. Probiotics can help you out if you are suffering from a specific malfunction, but if you're healthy, they are not required to maintain health.
