Intermittent fasting drinks
Post Body

I am trying intermittent fasting for a few different reasons. I understand it may help get my weight down (330 lbs, was 360 before I started paleo again), and I don't have a lot of time and money to cook and/or eat. I'm in crunch mode at work and will be for the next six months (writing my PhD thesis). I walk about four miles a day (to/from car, and with the dog when I get home). I cook my food and eat with my wife usually around 8 or 9 at night. I will drink a 0.5 L of coffee in the morning 2-3 hrs after I wake up, and have been sipping on tea and/or water throughout the rest of the day. I was wondering if there are any other drinks I could be making. I know about emulsified butter coffee already, and it's not part of my IF plan. Is there anything else I could be keeping my mouth busy with during the day, or should I stick with what I am doing.

Edit: Coffee, tea, and water also appear to be the only paleo approved beverages during a fast. Fruit/vegetable infusions have some calories, and there is something called a BCAA which I am not sure why people were suggesting.

Side Note: So it appears that IF may be a poor choice given my current weight and lifestyle. I'm a little confused because I was under the impression that it would help lose weight, but I'll try to go back to three square a day. There is still a lot of information popping up in this thread, and if you can answer one of my questions in there, please do. I will follow this thread closely for a few days yet. Thanks for the help paleo people.
