Can i recover my old account?

So i played Paladins during the Beta and continued playing for a long time once it officially launched. I stopped playing maybe a year or 2 ago, and today decided to jump back into it. So went onto Steam and see i still have all my achievements i earnt on it which is good, but when i re-install the game and log on, its forcing me to create a NEW account! Is there anyway i can recover my old account?? I put a lot of time into it, had a lot of skins, emotes, characters, etc.
