So I'm really into paladins and I really enjoy playing the game. I've got a more than decent computer and, according to the game itself, I'm always running it at about 170 FPS. Sometimes however when I start up my game, it never goes above 60 FPS. I know that's still a good framerate to play games, but the problem is that I'm used to 170 FPS and so my aim is terrible to say the least when it goes 60 FPS. I adjust my muscle memory to 60 FPS, but next time I start up my game, it's at 170 FPS again and my aim starts sucking again. Does anyone have any tips on how to make my game have a consistent FPS, preferably the FPS I had before this issue started, which is the usual 170.
