R2 / L2 Doesn't work on Mac

So i recently download Paladins from steam and i wanted to use my xbox 360 wired controller. I downloaded all the drivers updated them i connect the controller to the game and every button works except for the L2 / R2 buttons. So i get into a test game to try it out and all the buttons seem to switch over to the controller but the Right Click / Left Click. It just won't work, does anyone have a fix?
