Please discuss family planning whether it's an arranged marriage or love. Discuss if both the partners want to have kids. How many kids and everything related to it. This is my sincere advice to everyone getting married. Now if anyone has time they can read my whole post as why I am saying this.

I (27m) am married to my (26f) beautiful soulmate for 4 years now Alhamdulillah. It was an arranged marriage. After marriage I came to realize that I didn't marry a human, but an angel from sky. She is just perfect in every sense masha Allah. We fell so hard in love and Alhamdulillah everything is going fine.

Well a few months after marriage when life was going well and everything was fine she asked me one day about our baby. We were using contraception from start. She asked when are we going to conceive? I said well I am not yet ready to have one and anyways I don't like kids. Maybe I will never have kids. Then it dawned upon me when she said that she love kids and wants to have 5 kids. I was in shock. I mean there was me who doesn't even wants to have one kid and then there was her who wanted 5 kids. Everything was going great in our life and now I was crushed between having kids and getting myself into depression for her happiness. Or risk her going into depression and not have kids.

That year was very tough and we had many arguments and many fights over kids. But Alhamdulillah as I have said earlier our bond is strong ,we really love eachother and can't live without one another so after many discussions, arguments and fights we decided the situation. We came to some conclusions with both of us compromising which sorted it out.
