I’ve noticed personally I would think or agreed a lot more with liberals/feminists when I was in my early 20s. Now that I am closer to my 30s I feel liberalism in general is the cause of a lot of issues in society and I can’t help but agree with scholars/conservatives when it comes to social issues. (I’m not claiming to be very practising Muslim or perfect at all so don’t go that route)
Of course Pakistani society has a lot of issues due to culture and sheer ignorance but I no longer think liberalism is the solution since they ideology shifts based on what the majority wants at the time.
So Is it just me or do some of you also feel the same way???
