I’m not talking about anything illegal here, just to make that clear. I would talk to my doctor about it. I’m a little scared to because he is an addictions specialist, so I probably have 0 chance of getting anything especially without a diagnosis. But I have really intense excruciating chronic pain in my eye that never goes away, it feels like a needle is digging around in a nerve in my eye, except the pain is constant, never stops or subsides, and is very intense. It has been going on for 6 months and it is the most painful thing I have ever felt in my life. No one can find a cause or anything to alleviate the pain. I have had my eyes checked and everything. Kratom worked for a little, but then stopped working quickly. Valium also worked for a little bit but has now stopped working. Nothing else tgat my doctor has prescribed has worked. He has prescribed me everything but opiates. My question is that if my kind of pain is immune to kratom, are opiates even worth a shot? Or will they probably not work either. I have been in agony for 6 months I can barely function let alone talk to anyone because I will scream at them because I’m in so much pain all the time. I have had to drop classes and stay in my room all the time, I used to be a relatively happy, functioning member of society before this pain and now I just hope I don’t wake up in the morning because the pain is unbearable. I have panic attacks and cry a lot because of it. I never used to be like this. I don’t know how to go about trying out pain medication to see if it works because I don’t have any diagnosis or proof!
