Hi all, Im not sure if this is the right place to post this but ill give it a shot. I am planning on visiting Olympic National Park in Mid September and I just had some questions on best trails, camping/lodging, and how the park operates in general. I just got back from a trip to Zion National Park and it was very easy to navigate as the entire park revolved around the shuttle system. I am planning on having a car so I will be able to drive where and when I please, but are areas difficult to find? I have plenty of time there - roughly 7-8 days so in terms of trails and hiking I am hoping to explore the many different landscapes the park has to offer. I would like to hike mountain trails, forest trails, and coastal trails. I think my limit would be about 8-10 miles in length. As far as time of the year goes (Mid September) What can I expect in terms of crowds? as well as what the wildlife and plant life will be like this time of year. Any other information is welcome. Thanks so much.
