I can’t help but notice that the majority of posts in this sub involve people wanting/ planning to move here. It seems to be the trending relocation area. Do you think residents have any reason to be concerned? What about the strain on resources? Is the PNW equipped for this kind of growth?

Oregon had population decline or stability the last three years.

Oregon had its third ever decline in 2022 (0.38%) and it was entirely due to Multnomah County, (Portland). Every other county has had steady growth and I presume ever city did as well (there's a lot but looking through about twenty, from big to smallish, that I typed in individually and could find data for showed 5-14% growth year-over-year).

If you're looking at Portland, you still wouldn't know that the population has decreased by housing costs that are still rising.
