I have to brag a little bit, but I was surprised to hear that I submitted the first permit for a flip flop hike for the 2024 season. My hike may be a little more lonely than everyone hiking with the NOBO bubble, but I am excited for it nonetheless. I’ll be starting at Mt Siskiyou in southern Oregon on June 2nd. With work, my lease, and saving a little more money, it just made sense to start later. Logistically it’ll be easier getting there than starting at the Canadian border. I’ll be hiking in to Crater Lake, which has been on my bucket list for ages, in the first week. Wish me luck and I’ll see y’all out on the trail!
