Squad mode rating increases/decreases regardless of game mode

I primarily play Duo matches with a good friend of mine. For the last two days we have found that our 'Squad' rating is the one being effected instead of our 'Duo' rating.
I'm sitting on the cusp of gold tier and we pulled 3 wins last night. Squad rating shot up to Bronze I, whereas my Duo rating is still sitting in Silver I.
Anyone else run into this? Known fix?
