X-ray and Tracer round options

Hi guys I'm on PS4 and I stumbled across an option in the settings for x-ray mode and Tracer rounds it says they're enabled and to hold left on the d-pad for x-ray mode and right on the d-pad for Tracer rounds. Tried these both in games but it just does the standard option of switching mode of fire and grenade options. How do I actually activate these
