PUBG is one of my most favorite game ever, so I have tried so hard to improve my gaming experiment. I play games on a gaming laptop, it is an ASUS ROG GL553VE, with a 1050ti graphics card, i7 7700HQ processor, 8gb of 2400mhz RAM, and a 120gb ssd. And this is how it performed.
My FPS barely reached 60FPS, usually ranged from 45-50, GPU and CPU were downclocking due to high thermal. I could not accept this. I wanted better performance, and I got it.
And this is what I have done:
Buy another 8gb stick of ram to activate dual channel, I didn't see much improvement in other game, but this game it makes a HUGE difference.
Undervolt my CPU and GPU using afterburner and throttlestop
Clear my ram cache using EmptyStandbyList.exe (reduce stuttering).
IN game setting: very low except aa and texture set to high.
If you have, and you hate screen tearing, turn on V-sync (no screen tearing), cap your framerate lower than your monitor refresh rate by 1, e.g: 60hz monitor, cap your frame at 59. (no input lag).
Basically that's all I do, I just want to share with you guys who need better performance and have a hard time searching on Google. I have collected from many sources. The only problem existing is that the game still stutter, I just want to get rid of it. If you have any useful tips please share with me, thanks alot.
