Why are the smaller maps so disliked?
Post Body

I have about 2k hours in this game. It was my main game to the point maybe after sanhok got released I accumulated 1k of that 2k hours. Just for the perspective. After that I on offed this game. I came back for active daily play and noticed that in every rotation there is only 1 smaller map, when you get lucky. Sometimes even none. Also, in this subreddit and on the discord people say they dislike smaller maps and for some reason Miramar is, seemingly, the most adored one. I actually despise this map since it got released. On the other habd I love the small maps. I have a blast every time I play on sanhok and karakin.

So my point is, why is my preference (and of my friends) so off compared to the pubg community?

Comments

Because this isnt some run n gun clone like a dozen other FPS.

It's a mod of DayZ, which is a Mod of Arma ( a military Sim ).

If I wanted to sprint dive and drop shot / grapple hook swing and shoot, with a million things going on around me, I'd go play one of the dozens of games that cater to the 12 year old mind. This isnt that, so many of us don't want it to become that.
