My set up varies..
I personally love the M16 though. I'm an OG player on console when PUBG got the port. I have been bias towards the M16 as it was my original set up when I first started and back then (several years ago) M16 was legit, one of the best
I just recently hopped back on PUBG a couple of months ago and I still find myself picking up the M16 out of habit. I don't know where it weighs on the best gun list and set ups but whenever I compare it to other guns, the M16 beats a lot of them. I notice nobody really mentions it as being one of the best despite the stats on it. I notice nobody ever really talks about it on articles, videos, and here. Maybe I'm just missing it. Am I reading the stats wrong?
Maybe, I'm blind. Maybe it gets talked about a lot, but to me... The M16 looks like it is being overlooked... Getting a stock and comp for it creates a nasty Lightweight DMR. You can get an 8x on it too. Extended mag gives it 42 bullets. Range is decent too. What am I missing?
Low recoil, high rate of fire, capable of having an 8x again. Pretty awesome.
Downside is the low damage/ damage drop off
It's great within 100m. You can really throw rounds quick on someone with its high rate of single fire.
It use to be great, but as the game has gone on, it's become more of a starter/last resort weapon that something you would pass everything else over for.
It gets the job done if necessary, much like every other gun. I always recommend just trying to get kills with everything, incase there's a game where you're forced to use them

Pretty much. It was unstoppable.
I remember getting dropped 600m away with a m4 w/ an 8x scope lol. Or when the VSS was pretty much 0 recoil.
Good times.
